The safe soak-off method
If you remove a set at home, do it patiently with pure acetone: gently file off the shiny top layer so the acetone can penetrate, soak a small piece of cotton in acetone and press it to the nail, wrap each finger in foil to hold it in place, and wait about 15 to 20 minutes. The gel should look lifted and soft. Gently push it off with a wooden stick. If it resists, re wrap and wait longer, never force it. Finish with cuticle oil and a buff.
